Strength: Abacavir 600 mg and 3TC lamivudine.Indications:Abacavir is used in conjunction with other drugs to treat HIV infection (human immunodeficiency virus). It is also used in combination with other antiviral drugs to prevent HIV infection in people who have been exposed to it.
Use of Abacavir
Abacavir is used to treat HIV infection.
Lamivudine is a synthetic nucleoside analog and is phosphorylated intracellularly to its active 5′-triphosphate metabolite, lamivudine triphosphate (L-TP). This nucleoside analog is introduced into viral DNA by reverse transcriptase of HIV and HBV polymerase, which leads to the termination of the DNA chain.

Take abamune L tablet with or without food.
Continue to take abamune L, even if you feel good. Do not miss any doses.
Taking abamune l tablet at the same time each day, you will help remember to take it.
If you miss a dose of abamune L, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting, ear infection, nose infection, throat infection, skin rash, fever, chills, abnormal dreams, dizziness.
Store Abamune L at room temperature away from moisture, heat or cold. Do not freeze.
